Join us for an intimate floral and tea experience celebrating friendship! Create a modern ikebana-inspired arrangement using dried flowers, sip on matcha (ceremonial grade), and enjoy a relaxed, feel-good afternoon designed for connection. Come hang, get crafty, and celebrate Galentine’s with your favourite people.

Workshop highlights:

  • A gentle introduction to Ikebana, focused on balance, line, and intention
  • Choose from a wide range of curated flowers in both classic and Galentine's themed colours
  • Customize your arrangement to match your unique personal style
  • Enjoy a cup of ceremonial grade matcha and light refreshments while crafting your masterpiece
  • Connect and share the joy together with your besties and fellow enthusiasts. You’re welcome to come with a friend or on your own - many guests do.
  • We provide all materials and tools including a ceramic vase. Bringing your own pruning shears is encouraged but not mandatory. 

What you'll take home:

  • Your completed Ikebana arrangement
  • A ceramic vase to keep
  • A digital care & ritual guide, including floral care tips and a matcha preparation card to recreate the ritual at home
  • A little matcha sample for you to enjoy at home

Skill level: This workshop is open to all skill levels.

A couple friendly reminders: 

  • Workshop will start on time
  • All workshops are non-refundable
  • If you can’t make the workshop, you can transfer to another person. We’ll need at least 48 hours notice - just email us!
    • riya blooms reserve the right to cancel the workshop and refund you in full if the class is less than 4 participants (48 hours notice)
